Congratulations on your admission and matriculation into this great higher institution of learning called marriage. Where husband and wife shared the same admission letter (one flesh) and are to learn together, forever Matthew 19:4-6
4 “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’[a] 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’[b]? 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate
Divorce is not an option
which means in this great institution of learning, dropping out (divorce) is not an option. Because God the Creator and the vice chancellor of marriage institution as laid out His plans for marriage as together forever union.
God knows this design is the best ( Genesis 2:22-2, Matthew 1:4-6, 1Corinthians 7:10-15).
“10 To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. 11 But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife.”…………………(1Corinthians 7:10-15).
Therefore, marriage is the joining together of two people (male and female) in a bond that putatively last until death.
Marriage is a great institution established by God. God made the first man, named Adam and put him in the garden of Eden. But Adam was alone in the garden without any suitable companio. So, God made Adam fall into a deep sleep, and then made a woman called Eve from one of his ribs. (Genesis 2:20)
Adam and Eve became the first family. So, marriage is a life union between a man and a woman to live together as husband and wife.
Please face your studies and focus your attention on your course of studies. Work towards the unity and progress of the family. Remember, united you stand divided you fall. The biggest Assets of a Person in Life is His/Her, Family.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” –1 Corinthians 13:4
Have respect for all
Remember both of you are classmate but he’s the class governor, so, respect him as the class head. Also to the husband, respect is reciprocal. (Eph 5:22-33). Endeavor to do all your home works and assignments for good grade.
Have respect for all your lecturers and course administrators and be careful in your dealings with them (environment, neighbors, family, friends, church etc.). Disrespect and carelessness with any of your lecturers and course administrators may lead to total failure in your marriage.
